Project Overview: Construction of 1.4km of stopbank involving clearing vegetation, removal of topsoil, excavation of cuts, borrow areas, benches and surface drainage, carting of excavated material, formation and shaping of the new stopbank in layers, control of surface water, spreading of vegetation, spreading of topsoil and grass, and general maintenance work.
