At Goodmans we pride ourselves on keeping our fleet in top notch condition

Motorscrapers

Goodmans are proud to have a fleet of single and twin powered motorscrapers. The majority of these are Wabco elevating srapers from the late 70’s and 80’s. The models are 111A, 222G, 252FT and 333FT. All well maintained & with various rebuilding which keep coming back for more. The latest additions break this trend. 2016 Cat 637K’s (20m3) with GPS joined the scraper fleet in 2017 and are charging. We love motorscrapers!

Excavators

Goodmans own in excess of 55 tracked and rubber tyred excavators ranging from 1 tonne to 90 tonne. Over 25 of these are on GPS control for accurate finishing and excavation without pegs. The largest is a Cat 390F named The Prospector!

Bulldozers

Goodmans tracked dozers are predominantly Cat, – D6, D8, D9 and D10 models. The biggest is a Cat D10R weighing in at 65 tonne. She moves the dirt! 10 of our dozers have GPS. An old fave is one of our HD16’s called Smokey. She is purely a winch dozer used when serious pulling power is needed!

A big part of the bulldozer fleet are the rubber tyre bulldozers.  Goodmans have Cat 824C models working amongst some older Michigan 180 and 280 models.  These machines are versatile and used for many tidy up jobs on site including maintaining haul roads and finishing.  They still remain a favourite of the Goodman clan.

Dumpers

Goodmans run 30 and 40 tonne articulating dump trucks (ADT). Goodmans like to run ejectors over tippers for a number of reasons including reducing carry back and increasing stability when tipping loads. We currently have Cat, Moxy and Volvo on the go.

Tracked dumpers are used when low ground pressure is required. These are Marooka & Mitsubishi LD1000 models.

Trucks

The truck fleet has evolved in recent times to being predominantly Mack. We run a beautiful Mack Titan Transporter, a Mack Superliner Transporter, 4 road trucks & some specialist trucks. The trucks are an important string to Goodmans bow.

Compactors

Compactors are an important part of the Goodman family. The Cat 825K’s are the newest girl in the fleet. They are all an important finishing tool on the job. Five have GPS making them even more efficient.

GPS Machinery

Goodmans run Trimble machine control systems. Currently guiding compactors, rubber tyre bulldozers, bulldozers (D6, D8 and D9), various excavators (20t to 90t), graders and motorscrapers. This allows the operator to have the same guidance as a surveyor all from the seat of their machine. The bottom line is this speeds up production and there is no rework! GOOD job!

Specialist Machinery

Goodmans run plenty of specialist equipment allowing us to run more efficiently and tackle some difficult specialist jobs. We love making processes better! Constant improvement.
